According to the most recent TRAI wireless subscriber information as of March 31, 2023, Bharti Airtel, one of the largest telecoms service provider in India, has further consolidated its position as the market leader in the Karnataka circle. With more than 3 crore wireless customers, Airtel outperforms its rivals and captures a sizeable portion of the market in the area.

As of March 2023, Airtel had over 3.1 crore (31,217,992) wireless subscribers in Karnataka. This enormous figure outnumbers the closest rival, which has about 2.1 crore users, and the third telco, which has more than 72 lakh subscribers. The enormous client base of Airtel is evidence of its high-quality services and customer-centric business model.

Over 3,500 Indian cities and towns are already covered by Airtel's 5G network, and an additional 35 to 40 locations are added daily. In towns and circles where 5G is accessible, Airtel has begun releasing the number of 5G users. Airtel claims it is committed to providing its consumers with an amazing 5G experience. Airtel has created 5G experience zones across all its retail stores in the country.Customers can walk-in to any store to experience ultrafast Airtel 5G Plus. Airtel was the first to roll-out 5G in the country and Karnataka's Bengaluru was one of the first eight cities to get ultrafast Airtel 5G Plus. Airtel earlier announced that it has surpassed the 2 million unique 5G user mark on its network in Tamil Nadu.
