With the launch of its XSafe solution, Bharti Airtel joined the market for home security systems, offering equipment starting at Rs 2499 and an annual subscription for limitless cloud storage for Rs 999.

A simple-to-use home security system with two-way communication is provided by the solution. While some other goods on the markets have these features, Airtel will additionally provide free counselling from Airtel specialists who will be in-person, access to a special AI-powered app, and after-sale assistance. Encryption is used throughout the entire system to guarantee total privacy.

The home surveillance solution by Airtel is based on Wi-Fi based advanced cameras that are designed to ensure that homeowners are able to keep an eye on their homes even while away. The solution has been made available across various key cities including Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bangalore,Kolkata and Chennai.

Advanced cames used by Airtel Xsafe will be capable of detecting motion, enabling you to talk to people from anywhere, and provide a 360-degree view of what's going on in your house using the Airtel Xsafe App. When a suspicious movement is spotted by the camera, the app will immediately send out an alert. Customers may simply access the video at any moment with the app, using Airtel's secure cloud storage instead of scrolling through the entire day's stream.

"We continuously listen to our customers and post-pandemic many of them have raised concerns about the welfare of their loved ones while they are away from home. Xsafe is the perfect solution for these customers," said Vir Inder Nath, CEO, Homes, Bharti Airtel.

For the holiday season, Airtel is giving its Xsafe products a temporary discount. Sticky cameras cost Rs 2,499, 360-degree cameras are available for Rs 2,999, and active defence cameras cost Rs 4,499 respectively. Customers interested can receive the first month of service for free when they pay an annual subscription fee of Rs 999.
