Today, Bharti Airtel revealed that Telangana is home to more than 3 million distinct 5G users. Airtel also disclosed that, barely a year after its initial introduction, its Airtel 5G Plus service is now accessible in all of the state's districts.

Bharti Airtel had also, announced in May that it has surpassed the 2 million unique 5G user mark on its network in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Airtel was the first to roll-out 5G in the country and Hyderabad was one of the first eight cities to get ultrafast Airtel 5G Plus.

Airtel said that it is accelerating the implementation of 5G across a variety of locations, including the rural village of Anjanapuram, Golconda and Charminar, the world's largest masonry dam at Nagarjuna Sagar in Nalgonda district, and the famed temple town of Warangal.

Airtel added that in addition to the well-known Laad Bazaar in Hyderabad, it has also connected Gachibowli and HITEC City to the digital superhighway.
