Airtel 4G services reaches in 50 towns of Kerala

India’s top telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has launched its high speed 4G services (also called LTE) in Manjeri, Tirurangadi and Thalaserry, taking the number of its 4G towns in Kerala to 50.

NEW DELHI: India’s top telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has launched its high speed 4G services (also called LTE)  in Manjeri, Tirurangadi and Thalaserry, taking the number of its 4G towns in Kerala to 50.

With launch,  customers across the state can experience high speed wireless broadband on Airtel 4G and get on to the digital superhighway to enjoy uninterrupted HD video streaming, superfast uploading and downloading of movies, music and images.

Airtel has led the 4G story in India, having launched India’s first 4G network in Kolkata in April 2012. Airtel was also the first operator to launch 4G Services in Kerala back in August 2015. The 4G Journey that started off with 2 towns in August 2015 has now spread to 50 towns in just 5 months and rapidly expanding.

Earlier in November 2015, Airtel launched its Rs 60,000 crore network transformation and expansion program ‘Project Leap’ aimed at perceptibly improving network quality and delivering the best customer experience.

It also launched a special website www.airtel.in/leap that allows customers to know everything they want to know on how Project Leap, the 60,000 crore network transformation program, is progressing in their respective localities.
