AI to drive future businesses riding on Rich IoT Ecosystem

Programs revolving around rich Internet of Things (IoT) technology feature companies that innovate and develop products across the length and breadth of intelligent devices, through the application of artificial intelligence (AI) enabled chipset platforms.

With the rapid change in technology and the advent of innovations such as 5G connectivity, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Machine Learning, Image understanding, and Cloud Computing, here is a major scope for development and reinvention in 2020. Increasing demand in AI-based voice assistant devices (VADs) across home, mobile and automotive segments was seen in 2019 and the trend is expected to continue in 2020, with a focus on the rich IoT ecosystem.

As these devices and gadgets become less technical and more intuitive, the industry is now eyeing intelligent and user-friendly voice assistants that move beyond conversational User Interface and transform into a more interactive persona, simulating a friend or an assistant. The domain’s focus revolves around 5G and AI-enabled chips as they allow smart devices to function optimally. However, there are some challenges along the way and the industry is working on creating solutions for the same.

Once industries combat said challenges, rich IoT can transform the way major sectors work today. This includes the ones dependent on architecture, communications, cybersecurity, networking, data and signal processing, identification, software and algorithms, hardware technology, power and energy storage, etc. The ongoing technological growth is making every new product redundant almost every two-three quarters.
