Adani Group affirms participation in the open procurement process for 5G spectrum.

The business was very clear that it had no intention of competing in the consumer mobility market.

On July 9, Adani Group declared that it was one of the numerous bidders taking part in the open competition for 5G Spectrum services.  However, the organisation emphasised that it hasno plans to enter the consumer mobility market. Four businesses have submitted applications to take part in India's first auction of 5G airwaves, which will take place on July 26. These businesses are Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio, Vodafone Idea (Vi), and an Adani Group entity. In an official media announcement, the company stated, "We are competing in the 5G spectrum auction to deliver private network solutions and increased cyber security in the airport, ports & logistics, power generation, transmission, distribution, and various manufacturing processes. The business was very clear that it had no intention of competing in the consumer mobility market,“Our goal is not to compete in the consumer mobility market," the sentence included.

The statement further added that the potential spectrum award in open bidding would be associated with the recent announcement of the Adani Foundation to increase investments in education, science, healthcare and skill development in rural areas.

Applications for the July 26th 5G auction closed on July 8th with at least four applications submitted. background:#EDFAFF"> A new business may apply for spectrum as long as it promises to secure the unified licence for offering access services, mobile services, or data services in any region of the nation, stated an earlier regulation by the telecom ministry for inviting applications.
