A Sethuraman joins Deeya Energy India as MD

Deeya Energy, provider of stationary energy storage systems has announced A Sethuraman as the managing director for Deeya Energy India, a wholly owned subsidiary of Deeya Energy.

Sethuraman brings to the company extensive experience in planning, building, and executing telecom and networking infrastructure businesses in South Asia.

Before joining Deeya Energy, Sethuraman was the executive eirector, Regional Unit and vice president for Solutions Sales and Marketing and CTO of Huawei Telecommunications India for the past four years. Prior to that, he held a number of senior executive positions at Alcatel-Lucent, including chief marketing officer, country senior officer, director business development & strategy for South Asia, and director of Broadband Networking Division over a ten-year period.

"Sethu brings to Deeya Energy a wealth of operational, strategic and technical expertise and will help to shape and guide telecom and other key applications areas in our target markets," said Dr J Kelly Truman, global president and CEO of Deeya Energy.

Sethuraman holds an Electronics and Communications Engineering degree from University of Madras, India. He is active in various industry associations and has been Chairman of GSA in India, an association of leading mobile telecom vendors. Sethuraman has also been on the board of directors of six telecom companies in India and been involved with various industry bodies as a telecom expert and assisted in shaping policies.
